Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The Manor is a beautiful, traditional old home, filled with character. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcomed. They also helped us with transfers and organized tours in the area in a relaxed and effortless way. It's the perfect, non-rushed way to experience wine country. Highly recommend it.

Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. Spacious and comfortable room. Great staff. Great location. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good.

I have stayed in a number of kalk bay properties and this is the best yet. The location is perfect with stunning views. You can even see the sea from the bath. Service was outstanding. I was horrifically ill during my stay and Faith went out of her way to meet my every need and the needs of my 3 year old. I was sad not to be able to eat more of the food on the menu as it was stunning. The design is beautiful and so relaxing. The bath was a dream.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, offering a peaceful environment that was ideal for relaxation. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, ensuring that any requests were attended to promptly. Overall, the atmosphere felt safe and homely, making it a pleasant place to stay.

Hands down the best stay I’ve had during my 10-day trip across South Africa. The location is great, but what really stood out was the value for money and attention to detail; disposable slippers, spotless fresh sheets, power adapters, USB sockets right by the bed, everything you could possibly need. The hosts were on another level of hospitality - warm, helpful, and genuinely caring. They didn’t just give recommendations, they offered help with little things like arranging my taxi and checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Even without those gestures, I would’ve been impressed. I’ve paid the same or more elsewhere for service that doesn’t come close. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Hermanus.

This is a lovely place to stay and the staff are fantastic. There are all the amenities you could ever want and the breakfast was superb. Very convenient for Cape Town airport.

The property is stunning and very tastefully decorated. The owner provided us with all kind of addresses of restaurants in the neighborhood.The breakfast was superb and we really liked the very nice lady preparing it and looking after the property. An unforgettable last day of our great trip to South Africa! We will return

Το Schoongezicht Guesthouse είναι σε Durbanville, σε απόσταση 30 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος CTICC και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και... What a find. Everything about this well located guest house is excellent. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The host who checked me in was charming. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and there was plenty of options from the buffet table. There is a sparkling pool to cool off in and the gardens are picture perfect. The communication from the owner was prompt, giving direction before arrival, to dealing with all my requirements. If only everyone run there business like this it would be a pleasure to travel. I will definitely be using this guest house on all future visits to Cape Town. Can highly recommend.
