Villa Borghese Parioli, Rome
Offering modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, the Hilton Garden Inn Claridge features a free wellness area with a gym, sauna and Turkish bath. Set in the elegant Parioli district, the property is 10 minutes' walk from Villa Borghese. The breakfast is worth the extra $ they had alot. Waffle bar, two kinds of eggs, two kinds of meat, potatoes, salad bar, fruit, several kinds of pastries, toast, bisquits, etc. We don't speak any Italian, it didn't matter, everyone there spoke English. The front desk people were extremely kind and helpful. There is a grocery store across the street. Our room had a nice balcony, woth views and a fridge. The beds were pretty comfy. Our room was 2 twins, but they were slightly larger than twin beds, which was nice. I would absolutely recommend this place.

It was the nearest hotel apart from the Hilton, but still a good drive away on a busy road. We missed the shuttle bus but got one on our return and it was 6 euros each so not a bad price. The rooms are dated, but it was quiet enough. The man on the desk in the early morning was so nice and friendly. Expensive in comparison to other airport hotels, but I guess options were limited....
Very nice country house and the sights from the hilltop (especially during sunset) were amazing and we met some curious horses and a very vocal cat and in the morning a small rabbit as well.
Absolutely fantastic location for airport layovers or connecting from bus tour to next day flight as it’s connected directly to the Rome airport. If you’ve spent any time in Italy the Hilton’s American sized rooms and baths and spacious counter tops with ease your transition back into western civilization.
Beside the name, Hampton by Hilton, I have not much to say in appreciation to this hotel, very much US style, average low quality three stars hotel. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is quite good with a shower. Good wifi signal with a decent wide band. Enough parking lot.
Breakfast was ok but choice not as great as Hampton by Hilton in Berlin. Staff were amazing, so helpful especially Devine who just awesome…..welcoming, professional, knowledgeable and ready to help. She needs a pay rise.
Shuttle was ok but driver did not help with luggage. I was fortunate to have my husband to lift suitcases. Guess breakfast was ok I could not understand the fees added to bill . I am a Hilton honors member but unfortunately my stay was booked through a third party- booking.com and I did not my award points.
Nothing much really- it certainly is badly named- Hilton GARDEN Inn - it’s in a back block. There’s no garden.
