We really enjoyed our stay at Simon's. Beach, shops and restaurant are near by the accommodation. Simon was very welcoming host. This is a nice and quiet place to be. We loved it.

Everything was very comfortable including the beds. Everything we needed was provided. A very quiet and restful place to stay; would highly recommend.

Near the beach, with several restaurants nearby. We were there in early spring, so it wasn't a beach vacation...but this accommodation in Katwijk aan Zee is a nice quiet base from which to visit several important sites such as Keukenhof Gardens, Kinderdijk, and Amsterdam. And it was nice to be able to walk to the beach even if it wasn't summer.

Our stay at New Bay at Strandpark Roots was absolutely perfect for our family, especially traveling with a child. We were so impressed with how clean everything was – it truly made for a comfortable and worry-free experience. One of the highlights was the cozy lounge area in front of our accommodation. It was a lovely spot to relax after a day of exploring. A real game-changer for us was the convenient handcart provided; it made trips to the beach a breeze with all our gear and a tired little one. Our child's absolute favorite feature was the air trampoline. Parking was never an issue, with plenty of spaces available. The location is also fantastic, with just a 10-minute walk to both the beach and the promenade. The check-in process was seamless and welcoming. We received a very friendly reception upon key handover, and everything important was clearly explained to us. We highly recommend Strandpark Roots for a wonderful family vacation!

We stayed at the pool villa and it was truly amazing. The villa has a luxury feel to it and we really enjoyed all it had to offer. Kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking is not a problem. All instructions were easy to follow and we had settled in with everything setup and sauna heating within an hour. There was a welcome gift for both us and our dog, which was greatly appreciated. Excellent location too! We had wonderful walks in both the woods and the beach during our weekend without moving our car.
