Holiday Inn Hotels in Reading

The room I booked during my booking was not what the staff gave to me. they were not friendly when I asked why I had been given the wrong room. I was very disappointed as this was not my first time using the Holiday Inn hotel for my travel accommodations.

I've never stayed in a Holiday Inn before, but definitely will again. It exceeded my expectations. The reception area was very modern and well decorated and the receptionists, Lisa and Angie, were very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely and the beds were huge and so comfortable, too. The best part was the breakfast. There was so much choice, everything was perfectly cooked and the member of staff working that morning, Richard, was very welcoming.

Nissi & Ellie were so welcoming & helpful. Booking.com didn’t send our revised booking date across to the Holiday inn but Nissi & Ellie were very professional & helpful & sorted it out for us. This was a big relief as we were staying for a wedding. Thank you lovely ladies. The room was great. Breakfast was very good too. 😊

Reception staff was excellent . The gentleman who checked me in went over and beyond in accomodating my needs . Breakfast was excellent room was very clean, very quiet and hospitality girls were just fabulous. Location excellent parking was really good and no extra charge unlike other holiday inn in other location. Decor in all areas was very good , clean and modern. A very modern feel in all areas. carpets were very clean

The communal areas are smaller than other IHG hotels - felt more homely - However, the staff are what make this hotel standout- the service was friendly- not OTT - but was excellent - at the bar - for dinner - and particularly for breakfast- where it felt as though I could ask for anything and the kitchen would sort it

The staff were professional and friendly, we felt really welcomed which is something you don't usually expect from big network hotels like Holiday Inn. The room was modern and clean. It was quiet despite being between a busy road and a railway. The food in restaurant was amazing and we found the Half-board option is a very good value for money.

The friendliness and helpfullness of the reception staff was the best ever. The room had recently been refurbished, had everything I needed and was more luxurious than the typical Holiday Inn.

I just love the style and layout of Holiday Inn hotels. Super comfy beds and pillows and a nice quiet room which was great as I arrived in the early hours of the morning. The staff as always, were super friendly.

Very family friendly hotel and when at breakfast my 2 year old son started crying and screaming. Being a first time mum I was getting worried and quickly tried to take him away fearing I would be told off. However, they quickly came to help to distract him by giving him some milk and cookies. They also showed us where the children's play area was to keep him happy. It was great and in general all staff was friendly and professional. Would definitely go back and consider using holiday inn hotels from now on.
