The gentleman at the reception was very nice and the lady also smiling. They made us really welcome.

Princes Street, Royal Botanic Gardens, Palace of Holyroodhouse, St James Quarter, Edinburgh Dungeon, Edinburgh Castle, Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and the city centre are less than 2.5 miles away. The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 12 km from the property. We enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The room was perfect for our needs and spotless clean with good facilities. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the fact that you could open the windows for fresh air. Parking on site was very easy to organise and we had the option of the tram, local buses or the hop on hop off bus to go into central Edinburgh. A very convenient location , also close to shops and within walking distance of some good restaurants. The staff were always helpful and courteous. The breakfast had a good selection of options and everything was lovely.

This IHG Quality Excellence Award-winning hotel offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV. Perfect location in the old town, lots of restaurants nearby, the castle is a short walk up the road, the breakfast had a good variety (it does get a little busy at about 9am), the beds were comfortable and the room had just enough space for our family of 4. Staff were lovely at reception, very welcoming and friendly.

Edinburgh Castle and the city centre are easy to access by bus, with stops less than 5 minutes’ walk away. Good room. Comfortable beds. Tea/coffee station in the room. Friendly and professional staff on reception and in the restaurant, always willing to serve the guest in a best way. We were nicely surprised by a free kids buffet in the restaurant on the day we stayed.
