I was initially a slight bit skeptical as there were not many reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The room very clean, with amazing A/C and was an amazing location. The bed was honestly the comfiest mattress I’ve had in months. Edmar was extremely helpful and I honestly could fault this place. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location, right in the middle of the rainforest, and a short walk to several attractions (waterfalls, a swimming hole and cachaça distilleries). 20-25 min walk to the bus stop to Paraty, supermarket and cafe so the place is a bit secluded but for us this was the casa's main charm. We spent hours sitting on the balcony, watching birds and monkeys, or listening to the rain, the river and the sounds of the forest. The room is comfortable, good bed and pillows, super quiet and dark at night. The host is very helpful and welcoming.
