Frank is an amazing host! He helped us so much with planning of the trips around. ( El Corazón, Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi....) Chaupi was our base camp for the acclimatization in mountains in Ecuador. We spent in Frank hostal amazing one week and I can definitely say, that it was the best decision stay in Ilinizas Wasi. You can use a kitchen, pat their dog and cats, use the washing machine. Frank even helped us with booking a guide for Cotopaxi and he recommended us great guide Marco. ( From 8 groups we were the only ones, who reached the summit.) I recommend this place 10/10.!

Great place for its price with very nice hosts. You can also park the car in the yard. There is a great view of Cotopaxi and Iliniza parks peaks in the morning. Just do not expect too much. It's not a hotel, but more a home stay. But it's very clean and the breakfast is pretty home like. Daniel, the host, was also very kind with advice for the hikes in the area - appreciated!
