I loved the animals. The donkeys! Also, the shower in the room is something incredible. It’s more like a shower “experience” bc it’s a self contained shower that can have hot water hitting you from the sides. Just was wonderful. The owners are wonderful to talk with and have made lovely “retreats” within the garden. Wish I’d had more time to explore this lovely area.

Friendly family welcome and thoughtful advice. Comfortable room and bed and quiet, although the village church clock strikes on the hour; it didn’t bother me, but worth knowing. Good breakfast and nice to know that there is a sauna and jacuzzi (although I didn’t have time to use it). A dinner with local bio produce is available, if requested in advance.

Tim and Robin were welcoming hosts, spoke English, went above and beyond to help me out. The garden is lovely in the sunshine, the animals very friendly, living and dining areas very tastefully decorated and styled. Twin room comfortable bed, shared bathroom which was fine. Only body wash, no shampoo. Location was great, 10 minutes off the main road and you felt like you were in another world! Fresh eggs from their chickens at breakfast, cooked to order. Well worth a visit.
