My wife asked me to find a beautiful chateau with a swimming pool to stay overnight on our drive down from Normandy. This is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful grounds and rooms, fantastic welcome and a lovely little swimming pool. Fed the Koi, walked the grounds and had a fantastic stay. Breakfast was great too.

The location was great. The rooms were spectacular & easily exceeded any expectations. We really enjoyed the wine bar & shop (we bought some produce & wine & of course tried some) The breakfast hampers we’re just what we’re needed. Lastly you were vary warm & welcoming to us. We are already planning to return!

Great place to stay if you visit Beaune nearby; the drive is only a few minutes. A big plus is easy parking directly on the premises or in front of the street. People are very friendly. I forgot a piece of clothing, and they sent it by mail. Thanks for that.

Les bois d'ormes is located in Bessey-en-Chaume and features a pool with a view and mountain views. The accommodation has a sauna.

Wonderful place with lovely friendly owners. Several places to relax outside with a drink. Rooms comfortable and breakfast amazing. Also a delicious dinner cooked for us for which we paid extra but it was well worth it. Property a wee way out of town but no issue if you have a car.

Great location for stop over travelling from uk to south of France. 15 minute detour from the motorway and absolutely worth it. Such friendly owners couldn’t do enough. Amazing, home made food, highly recommend the evening meal. All so well organised and thought through. Beds super comfortable, rooms clean. We all wanted to stay longer!! Will be back. Thank you 🙏

Wonderful welcome and beautiful room. Patio right outside our room which allowed us to enjoy the garden. Superb breakfast delivered to the room. Secure parking. Fabulous host who directed us to places to eat.
