Our visit was wonderful! From the beginning, Paul welcomed us and showed us around the property. We loved the feeling of being there, having conversations with Paul, enjoying the yard, the pool, the delicious breakfast, his dog (Charles). Paul shared ideas of places to visit, which was great and also gave us enough privacy to enjoy our family time.

This was an exceptional experience. The owner was welcoming, spoke good English, and walked me through everything. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with everything working perfectly—the same for the bathroom. Even the AC, heating, and bathroom heater worked flawlessly. I even streamed BT audio from the phone to the TV. I was genuinely impressed. The shared kitchen was spacious and well equipped, ideal for preparing a simple dinner and enjoying a bottle of wine in the garden. Parking is in the backyard, away from the main street—great for motorcycles. The area is quiet. Breakfast was fine, a typical French spread. Overall, by far the best experience I’ve had in France. Seriously, no quirks or oddities.

The property had a lovely interior, with plenty of space, comfort and lighting. Property access was easy to use and very secure. The hosts were also lovely, being very accomodating and even leaving some added touches upon arrival that enhanced our stay.

This lake is not very well known but has the feel of the lakes in Canada. Great hosts who give you a taste of all the local products on a daily basis. Very confortable room with all you can ask for. For those pergrims who want to treat themselves, this is the place to make a stop.
