Very friendly guesthouse with very good comfort (no noise at all from the street, curtains against day light, comfortable bed) and delicious breakfast. It is customer oriented and you can feel it. USB plugs and wifi. Even a drying room is available for your wet clothes.

Close to both Kingussie Golf Club and Ruthven Barracks, Avondale House is situated in Kingussie and has spa facilities and garden.

A very comfortable stopover on our way north. Bryan and Laura are wonderful hosts who have developed probably the best guest house we've ever stayed in. Lots of attention to detail and nice, personal touches have gone into this place. The bed was so comfortable and the room a good size. Breakfast choices were a real treat. The location for Clune House is also advantageous. We'll definitely be going back here and to enjoy the natural beauty of the Cairngorms!

The space was in a great location, near to Aviemore but tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful setting. It was sparking clean and it was great to have some facilities provided - toaster, kettle, microwave etc so that you can be self sufficient if you like (great for those on a tight budget). The owners Gordon and Dulcie are lovely, welcoming people. I couldn't recommend more!
