Homestays in Agia Pelagia Kythira

We really enjoyed my stay at Pelagia Beach Studios on Kythira. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach and close to the tavernas and cafés of Agia Pelagia. The studio was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing holiday. We especially appreciated the balcony with a lovely view, perfect for enjoying breakfast or an evening drink. The owner was very kind and welcoming, always ready to help and give useful tips about the island. Overall, it was a wonderful and peaceful place to stay, and we would happily return.

We loved the location of the property. It was within walking distance to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and everything that the village had to offer. It was especially good when staying at festival time as we could just walk to the square to access the dancing and festivities. Stravros and his staff were so welcoming, we would definitely stay again.

Nestled in the beautiful old Chora, Chora View is a lovely, personal hotel where you feel as though you are staying with friends. The streets of Chora are narrow and only open for use up until 7pm from memory but you don’t really want to drive there - it’s best for walking. However, you can park out front to unload/load and then park your car in the communal parking lot nearby. We had a lovely terrace with a view of the castle, and a more spectacular sunset view of the mountains and ocean from our room. It was clean, comfortable with windows for a fresh breeze (our preference) or air con if you preferred it.
