We originally stayed at this accommodation in 2018, and loved it so much that we stayed here again for this trip. Despite it being 5 years later, the accommodation was exactly as we remembered and had been maintained immaculately. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are visiting Chania. Location is absolutely perfect!!!!! located in old town, but on a quiet street which we always found parking on for our car. Inside is spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. Daily cleaning service provided and tea/coffee provided in the apartment which is a bonus! We would stay here again and again :)

Choosing to stay at Dimitris' Castle Inn turned out to be the biggest surprise of our trip to Greece. We had seen photos beforehand and knew it was a hotel near the center of the port fountain with relatively old facilities, so we mentally prepared ourselves for possibly less-than-ideal conditions. However, we were completely caught off guard: as soon as we arrived, we received the warmest welcome from Mihaela. Seeing the two of us women with lots of luggage, she didn’t hesitate for a second to take all our bags. Like Popeye the Sailor, she led us straight up to Room 13 on the third floor in one go, then enthusiastically helped us settle in and gave us an introduction, fearing she might neglect us in any way! In the afternoon, I went downstairs planning to ask about travel guides, and unexpectedly met the hotel owner, Dimitris. He greeted me in the most unexpected way! He said that if I could return to the hotel at 3 p.m., he would be happy to drive us around Chania. As a result, he drove with us from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. straight. Starting from Profitis Ilias Hill, he turned into our tour guide and exclusive driver. Later, he took us to two beautiful beaches, and to our greater surprise, drove us for over an hour up to the mountains near Chania—our eyes were filled with olive trees, orange trees, avocado trees and pomegranate trees. And the biggest highlight of all? Dimitris even took us to a unique mountain-top farm, where we enjoyed the most distinctive local grilled lamb chops! He also insisted on paying the bill without letting us argue! We were completely infected by Dimitris' enthusiasm, straightforwardness and free-spirited nature. Never had we expected that a random choice would bring us countless surprises. I love Greece, I love Chania, and I love the people living on this land even more! One last thing to add: Castle Inn is like another home for me in Greece, and I will definitely come back!

We had the room with the large hot tub in the room, which we extremely enjoyed in November.The service of Alex was just exceptional and the breakfast was unsurpassed. Highly recommended. What did I like? Everything! The location? Just in the middle of Chania old town, a minute away from the Venetian port. The building? An impressive Venetian house from 13th Century impressively maintained. The facilities? All you need to spend a really nice days. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. The host? Thomais is the perfect host. She runs Madonna Studios with all her heart. Her devotion to make the guests to be like at home is the best value. She prepares delicious homemade breakfast with pie and juice. What a nice surprise. We really didn't expect to have such a great stay at Madonna Studios. Crete is a fabulous island, with a lot of places to visit. We will be back for sure, and what's really sure, is that it will be at Madonna Studios. You are looking where to stay in Chania? This is your place! Thanks for everything, Thomais! We loved our stay!

This was a lovely stay for me and my partner. Central, but still tucked away and the owner was super sweet. The room is super romantic, and we had a lovely balcony. The breakfast was great (size wise too!) and we were just overall smitten. Great value for money
