Everything was really nice. The apartment had some extras like a little pharmacy, oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, house shoes, shower gel and the list goes on and on. The apartment is really close to the hotspots in the old town, but not to close so it won‘t get to loud!

We stayed at Antonia's house and we absolutely recommend it. It is closely located to the center, it is clean, nicely decorated and the hosts communicates very clearly. There is a shared space on the ground floor that has a complete kitchen, where you can cook and it has a fridge. You can leave your car close the the 'viewpoint over the Aegean sea' for free, which is a 10 min walk. We ate at Galini restaurant, at the end of the street, but the food is basic, and we think there are many other places that are cheaper and have better, authentic food.

Centrally located in the scenic Rethymno Town, 100 metres from the beach and 500 metres from the Fortezza, Rethymno House offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wii-Fi.

The location was great. Right in the centre of the old town and only 800m from the bus station. And it is was a 10 minutes walk to the beach. The room was clean and had every appliance that you need. The host was very nice and helpful. He gave us advice where to go and which places were the best for dining and breakfast. It was wonderful and we definitely will stay there again the next time we visit Rethymno.

Great location, really close to beach (3 minutes) and bus stop where buses to downtown go every hour. You can still walk to downtown along the beach, for 30 minutes, it is a pleasant one. A great selection of stray cats to pet on the patio. Kitchenette was handy to cook something simple, can use air conditioner or leave air pass through metal shutters which are common in Rethymno.

Heracles Hotel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Spílion, 26 km from Archaeological Museum of Rethymno.

Spotlessly clean, great kitchen with all of the things to cook a nice meal. Good coffee filter machine, also greek pot for making traditional Greek coffee. Very spacious ground floor two bedroom with a big good quality sofa bed in the living/dining room. Smart tv for YouTube and Netflix etc. Amazing swimming pool with lovely spacious surrounding garden. Large covered patio for eating al fresco.

Best place to stay around Rhetimno if you are seeking some privacy and authentic Greek experience. Here are some highlights: √ beach is on 4 mins walking distance √part of the beach close to the apartment was always empty so you won't find crowds here like in Chania √owner allow to rent for free umbrella and chairs √there was a tiny seaview from my balcony even if it wasn't in description. I had a view of the garden and saw donkeys and goats wandering around which was heart touching experience √i have received even raid plugs for mosquitos! -picturesque sunrises from the balcony. √the best taverna i have tried around Rhetimno area is just 2mins walk √ there is a small taverna right on the beach to have a coffee or snack and it's not touristy √Lidl is approximately 15mins walk, there are two three shops within 5mins walking distance √-wifi signal was strong and phone was charging quickly √room has necersailly kitchen equipment (apart from oven) to prepare some breakfast (cups, cutlery, plates,kettle, fridge,freezer, french press for coffee and microwave) √owner respect the privacy of their guests and they don't bother you, it's a family run business so you also contribute for local people by renting this place
