This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had—not just in a homestay but in any hotel we’ve stayed at. You’ll be welcomed by an amazing family who make you feel like you’re truly part of their own. Each day, you’ll have the opportunity to join them on unique excursions like visiting cultural villages, learning to make coconut oil from scratch with the whole family, or exploring the rice fields with their cousin. The stay also includes a delicious homemade breakfast and lunch, and if you’d like dinner, you can enjoy it at their cozy little restaurant on-site. We had an unforgettable time and already can’t wait to come back. This family has made us feel like one of their own, and we’re so grateful for their warmth and generosity. We still have so many things to say but we’ll let you go and try it by yourself. Thank you so much again—see you very soon!

we discovered this hidden gem thanks to a traveler who spoke so passionately about it that we had to see it for ourselves, and we’re SO GLAD we did tucked away in nature and far from the usual tourist paths, we found ourselves completely alone in this peaceful haven we were welcomed with warmth by Aiwa and his wonderful team, who more than hosted us: they shared a piece of their lives with us the rooms were simple but clean, we only stayed one night but truly wished we had more time there we also booked a day tour through the homestay with Yusup and Anwing, two amazing and funny guides. we explored terebatu's amazing landscapes and encountered very few tourists to Aiwa, Yusup, Anwing, Iwan, and Amana: thank you from the bottom of our hearts, our time at avocado hostel will always hold a special place in our hearts ❤️

The best place we have stayed in Lombok. The house is amazing and the view is even better. Surrounded by rice fields. Sukri provided us with a delicious breakfast and also a tour of the rice fields, waterfalls and monkey forest. We really wanted to experience what it is like to be a local. We stayed for 2 nights and I wish we had stayed longer. Jonny and everyone there were super friendly and welcoming. The views of the rice fields were lovely to wake up to and chill by the sunset. We took the walking tour where our guide Ari (and Oni) took us around Tetebatu. Showed us how coffee, spices and coconut oil are made, as well as the beautiful rice terraces of Tetebatu (with little to no tourists around) and some amazing waterfalls. Also the food was amazing! (Try out the Olah-Olah) Everything was truly amazing, they really show you the true Tetebatu experience.

Amazing value for the cost especially thanks to the very nice hosts Heru&Andy - they organised everything we needed even when asked quite last minute, including a great guided tour. I stay here for 2 nights, and was the best place I book in my 2 months in Indonesia, you can hear the water from the river and as you can see from the pictures the amazing view is true, I saw the sunrising from my room and this was the most pretty place that I ever had, the family are incredible and super friendly and always want that you enjoy during your stay. The best place where we stayed in Indonesia 😊 The owners are amazing people, super attentive, rooms are clean, spacious, we loved the detail with led strip which you can turn on and it makes great atmosphere in the room. With interesting design of bathroom😊 (there are stones on the floor and tiles where you walk). And the location is very good as well, you are close to everything you need. They have cute dog who welcomed us together with the owners but the best? Breakfast, I mean WOW! We had super tasty sandwich and lemon pancake and it was very good and they brought us fruit and smoothie as well with tea and coffee and everything was so tasty 😊 Thank you guys! keep going, Veronika and Marek

The best thing about this homestay was the incredible view and all the tours I did with the host Ramli. I had 4 nights here and there was plenty to see. The local craft makers, village, waterfalls and rice field walk, and climbing Pergasingan Hill. Such authentic experiences, especially meeting people where it felt like visiting friends for cups of tea and delicious snacks. The food at the homestay was delicious and plentiful, and the room spotless. Highly recommend!

I can only recommend this homestay! It has very basic facilities but is surrounded by beautiful rice fields. Izy, the host, and his whole family are really nice. He welcomed me with delicious food, was able to help with every question and offers interesting tours around Tetebatu. In the evening you can sit down with him and the family if you like and try some delicious ricewine. It also makes sense to eat there, because it tastes marvellous.

The Homestay was nestled among rice paddies & very peaceful. The host family, especially Izi, were kind and very friendly, and provided a wonderful service to make us feel very much at home. Breakfast was generous with large fruit salad & a choice of pancakes or local food

This accommodation is just awesome. It is very cozy and has everything you need. You have an awesome view on the mountain. Fendy is there for you 24/7 and will help you with whatever you neee. He cooks great local dishes with ingredients from the garden. 😋Also, he can take you to some nice places around and show you how the locals really live. I had the best time at Coconut Homestay and will definitely come back 👍🙌

Fantastic value for money. Picturesque and serene location. Clean and very comfortable homestay. The locals are so friendly. Adi was the perfect host, looked after us very well, and cooks delicious food. His nephew, Eddie, is a knowledgeable guide and owns the Tereng wilis bungalows up the road that has great food at his warung. There are a lot of mosques in the area, and the muezzins start early, but we got used to them very quickly.
