Roney and Divya were superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Roney brought me speciality indian teas regularly and advised me on the best sights to see (of which the Edakkal caves ...6000 b C cave carvings only 8,ks away) was an absolute must. The upstairs guest level is the highest level of luxury decor I've come across in India. Marble floors, beautiful bathroom/toilet, aircon, and a lovely large balcony with hanging cane chair to enjoy the jungle view. I couldn't rate this homestay too highly

I had the pleasure of staying at Suresh's family home, and I must say, the experience was truly remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I was met with the warmest welcome by Suresh and his family. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. The rooms at the property have been thoughtfully modernized, creating an ambiance that's akin to being in a luxurious resort. The comfort and elegance they provide are truly commendable, making my stay an absolute delight. The location of the property is nothing short of excellent, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The view from the balcony was a treat to the eyes - lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see, with rubber plantations creating a picturesque landscape. It was a true retreat into nature's embrace. Let's talk about the food - it was an absolute highlight! The flavors of the dishes served were not only delicious but also carried the authentic taste of Kerala cuisine. Each meal was a culinary journey in itself, and I couldn't help but indulge in the delightful variety they offered. Moreover, the property's strategic location made it even more appealing. It's conveniently situated close to many famous tourist attractions, allowing me to explore the beauty of the region with ease. In summary, my stay at Suresh and family's place was a memorable one for all the right reasons. The welcoming atmosphere, modernized rooms, stunning location, delectable food, and proximity to tourist spots all contributed to an experience that I will cherish. The location was so beautiful it exceeded our expectations. We had a private candlelight dinner in the watchtower and highly recommend it was one of the highlights of our trip so far. Also the staff are very attentive and kind. Akhil took us for a morning walk and showed us around the property which we really enjoyed and Jinu made sure we were happy each meal. We also loved the badminton and many other games they had available. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

I loved my stay here. The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.
