My time at Shangrila Stay Bodhgaya was exceptional - the rooms were very spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed with both AC and a fan. The neighbourhood was also quiet, allowing me to get peaceful sleep! There were many e-Rickshaws on the nearby road, allowing me get to the Mahavihara in 5 minutes every morning, which was very convenient. Santosh is an incredibly caring host, telling me the best spots to eat at and taking me on his motorbike to buy souvenirs, and even helped me pick out a wedding gift! Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. I would love to have the pleasure of staying with him again.

Everything was great about Marina Homestay and ended up staying for many days. It’s a nice place in a spacious open field, though the most impressive thing was the staff and owners they are an inspirational family and I felt warmly welcomed which was a delightful surprise. There was group from Thailand staying there who were also very friendly and welcoming too which all contributed to my stay and wholesome experience of Bodh Gaya after 20 years since my first visit there… Marina home stay is a little away from the main Maha Bodhi temple but this means that it’s a quiet peaceful place and there are some local temples close by like the 21 Tara Devi temple which is exquisite. So really Marina home stay was perfect for me and well recommended. Thank you 👁️🙏👁️

It is a beautiful homestay, owned by a very kind and welcoming family. The house is a bit outside the craziness of Bodhgaya, yet still very close to the main touristic points, which I found to be a perfect mix. I hope to come back!

Clean and new room and bathroom. Good Wi-Fi. Liked the location, quiet enough for good sleep. The owner was friendly and responsive. 15-20 minutes walk to Mahabodhi temple. Shared tuk tuk to Gaya Junction is 400 metres away, 50 rupees only.
