A Home Away from Home! I had an amazing four-night stay at Malaga Homestay, and it truly felt like home. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality was outstanding—they even arranged food for us on a Wayanad close day, which was a thoughtful gesture. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with a unique and peaceful vibe. It’s a beautifully maintained 3BHK villa, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere was serene, and every corner of the place exuded warmth and positivity. I highly recommend Malhar Homestay to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and memorable stay in Wayanad. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Roney and Divya were superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Roney brought me speciality indian teas regularly and advised me on the best sights to see (of which the Edakkal caves ...6000 b C cave carvings only 8,ks away) was an absolute must. The upstairs guest level is the highest level of luxury decor I've come across in India. Marble floors, beautiful bathroom/toilet, aircon, and a lovely large balcony with hanging cane chair to enjoy the jungle view. I couldn't rate this homestay too highly

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so pretty, the rooms comfortable and spacious with wonderful view from the balcony and the room top terrace! The food was home cooked, delicious and diverse and we really enjoyed getting to know Kerala cuisine. The hosts were really helpful and lovely. Also there are many options for ayurveda treatment if you’re interested!

Our last homestay from our trip was again just great! Rahul is just kind and sweet host! He helped us with everything, even driving an hour to pick us up after our hike! The room was spacious and very clean! And the surroundings of the place are very beautiful as well! We will definitely come back again!!

Yazdy was an amazing host. We shared some really nice evenings, with good foods and great discussions. We even learnt how to make chapatis (with limited success...) The rooms are simple and clean. His homestay is located on the border of a forest. We saw many different wild animals crossing his farms and in its neighbourhoods: langur monkeys, malabar giant squirrels, spotted deers, macaques, dholes, elephants (10 min drive from the farm), etc. It is also quite accessible with public transport if needed (buses available from Sultan Bathery) Yazdy was also able to book a great driver for us to explore Wayanad. Thank you Yazdy! You made some great memories and experiences for our trip!

    I stayed here for 3nights. Truly the definition of a “Homestay”. The family is extremely cordial and helpful. Yamini ma’am’s food was the highlight for me. They made sure that I feel at home, which I did. Also, apparently it is one of the licensed homestay in Sulthan Bathery. Highly recommended!
