We loved everything at Petra Olive House! The host, Saddam, is a great man with a lovely family. His little boy was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us inside. His wife cooked the most delicious breakfasts, and he even gave us some zaatar to take home with us when we told him we liked a condiment that we had never seen before. The place is positioned in a very quiet neighborhood and has a lovely garden downstairs. It's about 7 minutes away by car from both downtown Wadi Musa and Petra, which for us was perfect.

I dont even know where to start. It was one of the best experiences/stays I had in Jordan and I mostly stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels. The host and his family were sooo welcoming and treated me like of the family. The obviously newly renovating suite itself was very clean, very private and in the perfect location in Wadi Musa/Petra. The host even kindly offered to give me a ride when needed and was very helpful and resourceful with any question or concern I had. The women of the house were exceptionally welcoming. One of the young ladies offered to drew henna on my hand and did such a magnificent art piece. The mom kindly agreed to show me how to cook authentic Jordanian dishes more than once and they even offered breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price. The food was sooo delicious and made with love and I felt like I was visiting my own family. I would highly recommend this place if you want to experience the real Jordan and getting to know more about the culture and the locals.

The family running the place is very friendly, both the father and son speak good English. The day we visited Petra early in the morning, they pre-prepared our breakfast for us. We also had dinner there one night, which was delicious, and we're invited many times for tea and snacks. Comfortable room, good value for money. Very close to Petra entrance, 2 minutes by car.

Faisal and his family were so incredibly kind to us. This was one of the most heartwarming accommodations I have ever stayed in. The room itself had 3 very big beds, which were perfect after a long day of strolling through Petra. The dinner we got was amazing, and we were also told about the Bedouin culture and customs. We visited the accommodation after being drained by (rare) floods in Petra, and immediately after arrival, without any second thought, we were offered spare clothes while our dirty clothes got washed. This is all without even mentioning that the price is extremely cheap and just the experience of getting to share an evening with Faisal and his family is more than worth it. This is definitely an accomodation I would recommend to everyone.

This place is clean, comfortable, affordable, and has the perfect location. We enjoyed the night in the tent outside which gave out some lovely Bedouin vibes. The hosts (Hammam and his Mother Laila) were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is super delicious and the portions are very generous. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to anyone staying in Petra!

The staff was incredibly nice and sweet. We chat a lot together about lots of topics and we were actually really sad to say goodbye after two days. They're kind, funny and interesting people. The food was delicious and even if we got pretty late at the hotel the first night, they made us a comforting meal with rice, chicken, soup, hummus, salad... And obviously a nice mint tea at the end. The room was very comfy and had such a nice view !! You can see all of wadi musa and, a little bit further, the beginning of the Petra mountains. Rooms have a balcony so you can sit there, watch the sunset and listen to the muezzin voice going down the valley. After an exhausting day walking all around Petra, it's the best sensation ever. And, really, the staff is so nice.

Petra is basically down the street (1.6km) multiple restaurants nearby. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a rooftop with views over the city. Mahmoud and his family are lovely - they can help you with pretty much anything and his sister is a great cook too!
