This hostel exceeded all my expectations. I was treated very kindly by the owner, he even gave us souvenirs, and he treats his guests with great kindness and attention. We didn't know there was breakfast, but they leave several things for you to eat and it's free, such as coffee, bread, eggs, milk and fruit. In terms of cleanliness, everything was very clean and organized. The blankets really helped to keep us warm in the cold. The location is great, it's very close to the station, and you can walk to other famous places, the location is very convenient. The atmosphere is cozy and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a good place to stay!

If you are looking to stay in a real Japanese style bed-and-breakfast at a good price, look no further than Asumi Onsen! The room is spacious for two people and clean. The breakfast is good, served to you in a tatami lounge. The host and hostess is an elderly couple, who are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They we’re kind to our every request, let us rent bikes for free, and even took drove us to Shimoyoshida station at the end of our stay. Finally, you will enjoy soaking in the in-house Onsen at the end of the day!
