We stayed just one night at Hiro's place and we had an amazing experience! The house is lovely in a very traditional Japanese style, and there's a small private onsen too! Hiro really made us feel welcome in his home, and greeted us with lots of kindness. The garden has a lovely pond and the little dog is so sweet! I really recommend Hiro place for an authentic and lovely experience in Japan. Hope we can come back again in the future. Thank you Hiro!

Very cozy hostel with welcoming owner. The spacious living room was a nice place to hang out and to meet other guests. I felt very comfortable right away. The location is also convenient, close to the station and only one stop away from Nikko. I can definitely recommend staying here.

I absolutely adored my stay at this place. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Her breakfast was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The location is conveniently close to the station. The bedroom was cozy, with a comfortable bed ensuring a restful sleep. Everything about the experience was just perfect! Amazing experience at Harunikko. We were entranced by the lovely garden and traditional setting. As well as the amazing hospitality from our hosts. Definitely know where to come back to if visiting Nikko again! Though the house is a little walk from town, it is perfectly manageable. They also recommended a nearby local onsen and many other tips and tricks for the area. Highly recommend!
