This 100 year old house has been lovingly restored by its owner. The house is huge, immaculately clean, and has everything you need for your stay. The owner is very kind, gracious, and extremely helpful. The house itself is located less than a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street, close to the music box museum. A multitude of good restaurants are in the area, and it's a short walk to the canal.

Really comfortable bed and good facilities. There is both a supermarket nearby and a konbini next door. I was a little unlucky with the weather while I was staying there, but I was able to relax and enjoy my stay. Also, the hosts have a few cats that might make you company while you have your breakfast. They are curious but really well behaved, I loved the experience :)

The location is amazing! The mountains are so close, and in the winter, the blanket of snow over everything is mesmerising. It is positioned in a great apot to visit both Otaru and Sapporo. The train ride to Otaru is amazing with great ocean views. The room was not cold in the winter with the heater that you can use and the facilities were all very clean and well maintained.

The very warm welcome and the location. It was very close to the canal and all the shops there. Despite that, the homestay was still on a quiet street. The cats were super cute too. The beds were super comfortable and there is a fridge and water dispenser right outside the room.
