We had the most amazing time at the Vera Sunset Homestay. Phonephet and his family are very friendly and the island is perfect for a few days off the beaten path. You can just relax in your hammock all day or explore the rural island and play football with the village kids. The food was very good and fresh. The standard of the bungalows is basic and in line with the price. Definitely one of our highlights in hole SOA and we can't wait to come again!

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

I liked everything at Mr Tho's Bungalows. The place is very quiet and relaxing. The bungalow in front of the Mekong is just amazing! They also have a restaurant with amazing food ! The view is wow !

The hosts are super nice and very helpful. Room and the whole Guesthouse is super clean. Rooms are spacious, balcony is big, a lot of space to put your stuff on plus a premium mosquito net. It’s never getting too hot and great river view.
