Run by a very kind family the guest house is a 10 minute walk from the river front, night market and historic town centre. Bungalows are old style wood buildings but well maintained with a/c, ceiling fan, hot showers and good wifi. They are spotlessly clean and set in a lovely garden away from the noise of the street. A breakfast of eggs, baguette, fruit & tea is included (coffee is available at an extra charge).

Was very happy with this guest house. As mentioned in other reviews the lady who owned the guest house was amazing as was her family. I arrived at 9am and was checked straight in after they finished cleaning the room ( 10mins) th lady exchanged Thai baht and gave much better rates than the bank or currency exchange. Gave me lifts to the embassy and border when returning to Thailand.. ok would strongly recommend this place. I will be staying again when I return to Laos.. absolutely fantastic place and family

Small cabins, with balconies set round a beautiful garden Efficiently run by a very hospitable host family - so kind that it made up for the deficiencies in the rooms. More like a homestay, with some access to kitchen equipment and good breakfasts. I rented a scooter from them, bit old but functioning. The family were really helpful with room change, information and onward transport. 10 minute walk to town centre, 30 minutes to bus station (or 50k tuktuk)..

I stayed only two nights in this family oriented homestay, the owner and her family are very nice and helpful. Even the travel guests there are very friendly. The included breakfast consists of filter coffee and eggs, it’s convenient so you can have something hot before heading out to eat your preferred breakfast. The room I stayed in had AC and a fan.
