Very welcoming and helpful family. They cooked us dinner, gave us lots of delicious cake, snacks and tea. They drove us to Horton plains by tuktuk and picked us up for a good price, helped us organizing, brought us to the train station for free. Room was clean and very nice.

That’s the best hostel we stayed in Sri Lanka 😊 They organised us a tuk tuk to go to Horton plains for a very reasonable price and you can also eat in the hostel, they serve a big buffet that it’s impossible to finish. The terrace is a nice place to chill and there is birds, lizards and monkeys around. They also very nice family with a friendly dog.

Staying at Sana’s Homestay was a really lovely part of our time in Sri Lanka. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding—Sana and his family were so kind and thoughtful. His mother is an amazing cook, and her tea quickly became our favorite! The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking—waking up to the misty hills of Haputale was unforgettable. Few things to note: • The road to the homestay isn’t well marked on Google Maps, so it’s best to contact as you get close—the host is super helpful and will make sure you find it without any trouble. • There is parking if you have a tuktuk or bike • There are a few up steps to get to the property. If you're after a quiet, scenic, and genuine experience in the hill country, this is the place!

What an amazing property, the food was delicious, the view was spectacular, the rooms were lovely and the pool was fantastic.
