An absolutely exceptional place! The breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and varied – everything prepared with great care. The accommodation was excellent – clean, well-equipped rooms with access to filtered hot water, which is a big plus. The hospitality and the patience from our wonderful hosts was amazing. We arrived very late, and they were still very happy to accommodate us and help lift our heavy cases up the stairs. The home was large and surrounded by nature. The view from the balcony was rich in plants and trees. We had an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious. The property is located very close to the airport which is extremely convenient.

Picked this hotel only because it was near to the airport and had a better rating than the normal airport hotels. Felt guilty that we arrived late in the evening and flew out early in the morning - the hotel (more of a guest house) is fantastic!!! Run by a tremendously friendly and welcoming couple, it is an old house that has been in the family for 200 years and oozes with tradition. Although its geographic location is perfect for the airport and not really near anything else, it would not be too far to take a tuk tuk or car to the beach or into Colombo, and we thought that if we maybe stayed here longer it might have made a good base. Good wifi too.

The location is excellent, very close to the airport. The hotel looks modern, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning and the fan both worked well, and the bathroom was very convenient. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended if you need to spend a night near the airport.
