Spacious comfortable room with separate entrance. Large bathroom with shower. Beautiful scenery if a little remote ( not a criticism, just something to be aware of) Walking opportunities straight from door. The weather wasn’t kind to us but we did get one morning when we were able to do the tea experience. The best part for me was the food - they prepared some wonderful gluten free Sri Lankan meals for me which was the best food I had in our 3 week trip. Dave is very engaging and we enjoyed our chats with him.

We had a truly amazing experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef made sure the spice levels was too our liking. The pool overlooking the mountains was truly magical and was the icing on the cake for this wonderful property. We wish we had more time here.

Book this place when you wish to see many things in and around Kandy! The owners went the extra mile to make me super happy. He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.

I will carry this magical place in my memories for my whole life. Extremely stylish tea estate that seems suspended in time and space.. me and my girlfriend just couldn’t stop taking pictures with our camera all around the property! They have a breathtaking veranda where you can enjoy your meals, especially the dinner at sunsets.. a charming swimming pool, marvelous rooms and a private waterfall!! Amila, the manager is one of the nicest and most professional persons I have the privilege to met during my time in Sri Lanka took very good care of us and I recommend not to miss the tea plantation tour and tea tasting with Mr. Das, the historic memory of this beautiful place. What else to add? Two nights weren’t enough but that’s a good reason to go back!

The view from the room was absolutely stunning. The property offers two types of rooms: one with a balcony and one without balcony but an extended front view. During our extended stay, we had the opportunity to experience both. Both rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and featured king-sized beds that were extremely comfortable. The wooden chairs and tables added a charming touch, and the bathrooms were modern and well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was the host, Susantha. He is a genuinely kind and helpful person, always eager to assist with any needs. Beyond that, he’s an excellent cook! I highly recommend trying both breakfast and dinner—he’s happy to customize dishes to suit your preferences. Conveniently, there’s a grocery store right outside the property, along with a few nearby cafés. For even more options, the main market is just a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. If you enjoy outdoor activities, there are also several hiking spots in the area.

Our hosts were the kindest people. I felt like I was at home with my own mum I was so well looked after. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and they even invited us to sit and have a drink with their friends they had over one evening. They provided so much information and helpful advice throughout our stay. This stay is a must if you are looking for somewhere that feels like home.
