Mohan is not just an apartment owner. He became our friend. We are happy to met him! Mohan is very interesting and wise man. He likes his business very much! He told us about his family history and also about himself and his hobbies. One of his hobbies is Karaoke singing! We spent the evening in singing the songs. He sang mostly, of course, but on My Way I couldn't resist and helped him😁 At the end of the evening, my wife and I sang our traditional folk song for him. The review would be unfair if all the impressions of the stay were reduced only to the owner. Mohan studied hospitality in the UK, and after that he worked in famous hotels in the UK and Sri Lanka. He follows the same rules in his apartment. The room is perfectly clean, pre-cooled with air conditioning. The balcony overlooks the river and the various birds that live there. We saw some parrots. A comfortable bed, a refrigerator, cool drinking water - everything leads to a good rest for body and soul. Every breakfast at Mohan's house is a masterpiece. Be sure to try this wonderful 5-course breakfast with fruits, toast, jams, scrambled eggs, vegetables and coffee or tea.

The entire floor has a series of similar flats opening to terrace and landing with microwave, ironing board and laundry lines. Very convenient location near Maharagama centre near the Colombo-Batticaloa highway and at a few minutes from Kotte and Polwatta. The host is fully proficient in accommodating all nationalities and provides a plethora of amenities for either cooking, cleaning, or refreshments. He also was assisting to further my trip in the most budget friendly and efficient manner. All of it for an unbeatable value for money rate.

Such a great place! Madu, the host, is an extremely friendly lady who made me feel like home. Her care and service is beyond amazing. Make sure to try her Dahl as this was one of the best I had in 2 months traveling through SL. The room was clean and comfortable. If I come back to Colombo one day I would stay here again

Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.
