Dar Rio Oro was an important stopover for us, and although the host was not present, she communicated with us throughout and ensured we had all the information needed for our onward journey into Mauritania. The guesthouse itself is beautiful and offers some of the best value in Dakhla, a city where prices are often inflated. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making a clear effort to engage with us despite language barriers. They even allowed us to leave our car while we travelled to Mauritania and kindly drove us to the bus station early in the morning.

Situated in Dakhla, a few steps from Oum Lbouer, The Ocean Surf Villa features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden.

Everything! It is a little oasis in the middle of Dakhla, the perfect stay to escape from all big all inclusive and refresh! What makes the most out of it is the staff! We have been welcomed like we were part of friends or family; Nora and the team are so nice, with attention to details, making you feel like at home. And the food is incredible! Thanks everyone we will definitely come back!
