Stunning and homely riad. Exceptional service from Rachid who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We were having discussion about Moroccan food and from this conversation he cooked us an egg and tomato tagine for breakfast on our last day. Exceptionally clean and relaxed place. I would 100% recommend this place and return if I ever came back to Ouarzazate.

After a really beautiful scenery on the way from M’Hamid we arrived at Dar Brahim Tizgui and were greeted by the very friendly host and his family with tea. The family room was comfortable. We didn’t use the shower so I can’t say anything about it but the rest in the small and basic bathroom all worked well. I wish we could have stayed 2 nights to discover the area a bit more. We made some time to visit caves in the valley. It’s nothing touristic which made it extra interesting. After a short drive and walk through the valley the host took us to the front rooms of the cave system. He is so knowledgeable and eager to share about the history and lifestyle of the Berbers. We learned a lot during this short stay. The homemade meals are also very tasty! We absolutely recommend this place! And if possible, stay a bit longer than 1 night.

It is a well setup 3 storey House in the typical Moroccan style with lots of mosaic, colour and local art displayed. The room was spacious with all the amenities needed: attention to detail and local craft was used (pottery, rugs, etx) as well as the warm earthen tones of southern Morocco. The hosts were extremely welcoming, making our stay a "home away from home"; We had ample breakfast as well as great local cuisine for dinner, we received lots of insightful advise about the Ouarzazate region and if you want to experience Morocco away from the hussle & hussle, then Pierre & Christelle are the perfect hosts for that!

All the staff was really sweet and ready for our questions. They even gave us the option to upgrade to another room that was empty and had the best view for free. The view is really special and I loved the breakfast. All the facility is really beautiful and functional. It’s run by a family and you can really feel that. The next day they let us do a late check out and even gave us a lunch as hospitality. I can definitely recommend. It’s not at the center and you’ll find a local experience, and the views are incredible. A great oasis to experience peacefulness specially after chaotic Marrakesh. I’ll definitely come back!
