What a warm welcome. This is exactly why staying at a family owned establishment is so much more.... than a chain hotel. Thank you Rachida for your kindness and help. Our son fell ill and they did everything they could to help. The house, garden, and restaurant and were just lovely.

Saida's passion for sharing her culture and the pride she takes in uplifting her community is truly one of a kind. I stayed 4 nights with Saida and her family and it was a memorable experience I'll be talking about for a long time. While hearing Saida's stories was the highlight of the stay, I also did a few of her curated activities including a hike to a centuries-old Berber village, an incredible afternoon making a rug with a few local women, and a visit to the poterie where all the children from the village kept us company. All amazing. What Saida has created is nothing short of inspiring and impressive, which you'll understand after your visit. Highly recommend making the trip, the views alone make it worth it.

Mohammad is the best Mohammad in Morocco! He helped us plan our walk and served us a delicious breakfast. Great value for money

The highlight of this place was the staff - super lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. Really made us feel welcome :) we also loved the teas, coffees and breakfasts on the terrace.

The place is just wonderful, the best place to stay in Imlil area. Don't hesitate to choose it! The host was so responsive to everything! My daughter stayed at their home while we climbed Toubkal and she felt right at home, they fed her and didn't want me to pay for it. I highly recommend choosing this place! Our whole group was speechless by the view from the terraces!

The host, Hassan, made sure we had an awesome time in Imlil! He was waiting for us by the road where we parked and were feeling lost (google maps location does not match the booking.com location, which is the correct one). He took us to the local cafe/bar to watch the football with the local community. We got dinner at the property and he and his family allowed us not only to join them in the kitchen but we got an authentic home cooking lesson! The property has been recently renovated, and some fixtures are still missing, but on the other hand the rooms and bathrooms are large, they feel modern/functional and very clean, and the traditional decorations give the whole property a cozy and homey vibe (we loved the traditional babushkas in the rooms)!

Our stay at Tonaroz House was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and felt instantly at home. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and caring, ensuring that we were comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. The location is perfect, offering peaceful surroundings and breathtaking scenery, making it an ideal base for hiking and exploring the Atlas Mountains. The atmosphere was calm and authentic, far removed from anything touristy, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of the region. The food was excellent—dinner was delicious and reasonably priced, while breakfast was fresh, hearty, and the perfect way to start the day. Every meal felt homemade with love. One of the true highlights for us was the resident cats, Gaga and Sofinia. They were so friendly and affectionate, making the stay even more special. Even though the evenings were chilly, we were provided with plenty of blankets, and it actually added to the charm of the experience. The entire place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained—we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Between my partner and I, we’ve stayed in countless hotels and accommodations around the world, and we can honestly say that Tonaroz House is one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. If you’re looking for authentic Berber hospitality, stunning landscapes, and a peaceful retreat, this is the place. We wholeheartedly recommend it and would return in a heartbeat! 10/10 – an absolutely magical stay. 🏔️✨
