Awesome service, good communication with the hotel, epic food, very clean.

An oasis in Maamigili, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were made to feel like a VIP guests. The experience was wonderful. Rai Bob and Rafi ensure you want for nothing during your stay at Villa residences We were greeted at the ferry terminal and taken to our accommodation where we received a welcome drink and cold towels to freshen up with.. Rai introduced the island to us, explained the different excursions that they could offer and arrange for us and send us a great deal of information via WhatsApp so that we could read and digest at our leisure. The reception area and the courtyard which really double as the dining area and social area is immaculate. Well maintained in terms of the foliage, we understand that there was a lot of mosquitoes last year and having spoken to returning guests we know that the number is now significantly reduced. What was nice though is the fact that there is anti-mosquito spray on all tables and provided in all rooms, an indication that they’re thinking about the guests and their needs. The mosquitoes were not a problem during our stay. After a welcome we were shown to our room which was nicely chilled. Thanks to the very efficient air conditioning unit. The bed was decorated with petals, which was a lovely touch. The room was spacious well fitted out clean and smelt fresh. The room has a really comfortable double, with white cotton sheets and, always a bonus, two pillows per person! Our room had a ‘ welcome’ fruit bowl, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities fresh and bottled chilled water was provided each day. The room was serviced to a high standard every daily. We enjoyed watching the television in our room as well as listening to the music on the television in reception area and the reels of marine life that were sometimes playing, very relaxing. After we checked in, we were taken on a complimentary island tour which helped us to orientate ourselves to the island.

We have stayed for 5 nights with Sharmar guest house for scuba diving. We initially booked for 3 nights but ended up extending our stay because this place realised our dream holiday. We are super frequent traveller both work and leisure　having stayed in so many levels/kinds of hotels/inns in many countries. What we love about Sharmar Guest house is honesty, friendliness and cleanliness. If you are looking for posh, private, luxury hotel where your desire to be treated as "king and queen" fulfils sort of atmosphere, perhaps this place is not for you because is not 7 star. If you are looking for the place where you feel home and relax with clean, unpretentious atmosphere where you share your diving experiences and passion over beers, under coconut trees on the white sands with other guests and staffs, this is your place to stay in Maldives. Everyone calls each other with name. You enjoy dives and after dives with lots of laughter. All you need after repetitive diving is rest then bed linens and rooms are super fresh and clean everyday. (tbh much better than many star hotels we have stayed!). Room smells great. Clean bathrooms with sufficient hot water after diving. Of course I need to mention about kind, patient and knowledgeable diving instructors/guides who make this place even more special. Diving experience was exceptional that we encountered 4 mantas in 2 days, a whale shark, 2 turtles in 2 days, a group of 13 white sharks, hundred of schooling fishes, and breathtaking underwater sceneries...(we have many more diving spots to be explored so will definitely come back !!) Lastly, when you check out, you will probably feel so satisfied and justified seeing your bill just like we did because everything is reasonably priced despite of "Holiday in Maldives". We really would like to congratulate Shamoon and Markus created this place in Maldives. Thank you Shamoon, Markus, Anita, Sein, and crew!

Kiki the owner could not have been more amazing. Right when I got there, he picked me up, got me a coconut and said welcome to the island, you are a local now - anything you need, I will help you. He took me to his grandmothers house for dinner two different times. I got to attend a big family gathering of there and he helped me with my scuba arrangements and my jet boat transportation. An absolutely amazing human and a great place to stay.

I have been traveling together with my girlfriend to the Maldives and we really didn't know how it's going to be on a local island. Shahid (host) is a person that sets value on good communication beforehand as well as on the trip itself. Before we came there, we chatted via WhatsApp about everything important (flights, diving license, prices etc.). That helped a lot because we felt informed all the way through. I wanted to dive, but my girlfriend cannot. So, she could stay on the boat, could do some snorkeling while I was diving. Shahid managed everything and paid much attention on us feeling good. We could ask him anything at any time. The stay at La Cabana was way better than expected because of the very personal contact to the super-friendly staff. All in all, the staff works in a very professional way, is reliable, open-minded, funny and makes you think of cancelling your flight back. :) We definitely would recommend staying at La Cabana. If you are looking for a family-like guesthouse offering many awesome diving and snorkeling trips, you should book here.

It’s a beautiful guest house and the owner is very kind and welcoming! We had a really nice stay and had karaoke evenings every night. We really enjoyed our stay there and hope to come back!

Good communication. Very clean and comfortable room. Great tv room with Netflix for rainy days. Washing and drying facilities for clothes. Free coffee, tea and water. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was perfect. Location in a more peaceful part of the island. Lovely staff who care about the guests and the guesthouse they have created. They helped us organise a speedboat to the island. The room was clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast, especially the local breakfast option. Nicely arranged common area and garden. A place to recommend.

Riswaan and his team are doing a great job with this lovely boutique hotel. The room was clean and spacious and I loved the terrace, with comfortable seating and the lush garden providing privacy. The entire property is very inviting and cozy. The service, from daily room cleaning and delicious meals at the restaurant to the organising of transfers and availability of the host through whatsapp for any requests, was impeccable. The staff were always kind and hospitable and I appreciated their discreet and gentle ways. I cannot compare with other accommodation in the Maldives, but I can’t imagine other places will be able to top the level of wellbeing I experienced at Seaside Dhigurah.
