The entire manor was so beautiful, it was like travelling back in time as soon as we got there. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen was big and there were many tables to eat, so even when other guests were there, there was still lots of space. The shared kitchen included a microwave, toaster, kettle and some breakfast foods (oatmeal, cereal, honey). Jack at reception was very helpful and helped plan out multiple hikes and drives while we were in the area. I definitely recommend it to any traveller who wants to stay close to Reine.

This is literally the best hotel in the best location!!!! 100% will come back to stay for more days. Very stylish and exquisitely designed. The view from every window is breathtaking! All the amenities are clean, pleasant to use and create a special “home like” atmosphere. There is kitchen available, very nice coffee machine with GOOD coffee beans. There is even old fashioned pop corn machine. Gym, sauna, you can even book kayaking tour. When we stayed there orcas were in the fjord near by. Owner of the hotel told us about it and we went orcas watching. So cool! The owner of the hotel is just the kindest and the coolest person! No need to drive for famous views of Reine, you literally see them from the hotel. Very convenient hike to Reinebringen. And the most epic is that if the weather is bad, you don’t go hiking. But as soon as you see the glimpse of the sun, you can easily hike the mountain.

A good location for a stress-free getaway in Reine, Det Gamle Hotellet Guesthouse is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Super Cute , neat and tidy guest house with the perfect location. Cafe next door and a bus stop, convinience store and restaurant right opposite. The host Jan is very helpful and accommodative and Ronja was extremely kind and supportive throughout the stay. We would highly recommend this property

Spotless clean. Shared living with kitchen was a great plus. It allowed us to have dinner on a snowy evening, and saved having to dine out in the snowfall. Comfortable matresses with warm duvet !
