Wonderful experience with Navin, who is fully acknowledge about Bhaktapur, its secret ways, temples, and best local food... he gave us full experience of the place, from family traditional setup, friendly presence with us and full care of how we were feeling. Comfortable bed with a great duvet. Beautiful room and bathroom in a modern building with the dragon theme tastefully running throughout. Well located in a quiet area yet only about 100m to the nearest shops and restaurants. I loved the breakfasts and speaking with the host family who are extremely hospitable and generous.

Shekhar is a special person that has created a special place for travellers to come together, share and find a likeminded community which this place seems to attract. On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

First, we simply loved Bhaktapur! We were nicely welcomed to Milla's guesthouse, and honesly the place is a jewel. (I could easily live there!) The room nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the caretaker offered to guide us through the old city, it was a beautiful experience. At night we went for dinner at Tusa, a culinary experience by passionate restaurateur. (minutes away from the guest house). Breakfast was a delight!
