We enjoyed meeting the lady who greeted us, she was very friendly and helpful, note: she works in the hair salon next door. We were very happy with our room and bathroom. Everything was clean, the kitchen useful, and the bed comfortable. Very close to the plaza and other sites, but was quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Pensão Alianca is located at the centre of Guarda, in a 50-year-old building without lift. The familial guest house is a 3-minute walk from the Sé da Guarda and 100 metres from Misericórdia Church.

The breakfast is quite modest, but at the same time varied. I liked it. A visit to the hotel restaurant in the evening is mandatory - they cook really amazing meats there. One of the best I tried. AIMA office and the bus station are a 10-minute walk away.

Location, location, location. Great restaurants just around the corner, easy access the historic district. Well sound proofed. Very clean. Daniel, the owner, is an excellent ambassador to the city of Guarda.

We stayed here for a week with the whole family, and it was absolutely wonderful! Patricia and her assistant were amazing – so warm, helpful, and always available for anything we needed. The pool is stunning, with an incredible view, and the breakfast was delicious and varied. There were games and activities for both kids and adults, and every little detail in the place was thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere, the decor, the peaceful surroundings – everything made our stay truly special. We had such a great time and are already looking forward to coming back!

Booked for one night stayed for 3, impeccable service, dinner was delicious 😋 and breakfasts had ample choices, dogs enjoyed the stay too. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely come back.

This is such an amazing place an quite a remote area. Everything was super clean, starting from the room as well as the SPA area, where there are two saunas and a jacuzzi to be used free of charge during the set timeframes. The adjacent restaurant is also awesome, serving tasty food for very decent prices, in a nice atmosphere and hosted by friendly and welcoming owners.
