Very spacious, grand room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a book that left information on restaurants, activities and places to see. The room had everything you could need and more.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Country Suite of beautiful Villa Várzea for 6 nights, and I cannot recommend it enough. The Villa is comprised of two hundred-year-old buildings with a great history, as they were once owned by one of the first doctors on the island. I loved how the design of the spacious interiors still reflects such history, yet without compromising on modern needs. Together with the very quiet and peaceful location of the small village of Várzea, this combination allows for a very relaxing experience that is hard to find elsewhere. All this I could have mostly guessed by reading the description of the house online. What I could not have guessed is that the house is run by lovely locals, some of whom I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with, such as the sweetest receptionist Catarina, Rita, Filomena and the owner Monique, who happens to be the great-granddaughter of the aforementioned physician. In the room, there is also a booklet full of suggested locations to visit, with some interesting descriptions of the history of Villa Várzea and its village. On my last day, I also tried the optional breakfast, which was delicious and included local food.

The rooms and the common space were super clean. The kitchen was equipped with all the stuff for cooking. Perfect parking spot and jacuzzi in the garden. Towels and bathrobe in the room just perfect

This is a beautiful spot! The cottage is perfect, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Nearby is a restaurant/bakery that serves amazing food and also a mini market. The town church/center, ocean, and bus stops are all a short walk away too.

Pedro is fantastic, great clear and concise communication. I dare you finding better quality/price ratio. The room was spacious, the furniture although vintage was very appreciated, nothing I needed was missing. It actually has its vibe. The house was quiet, other guests very respectful. You might want to wear ear plugs in case travelers leave early or during the night. Although I heard it, it didn’t prevent me to sleep and I found the bed very spacious and comfortable. It’s close to the airport, even by walking if you don’t carry too heay luggage. Towels were provided as well as products for showering. You can see the ocean from the house 😊 Pedro was very accommodating and really did everything he could for me to feel welcome and comfortable. Again, impossible to find better for this price. If I am back at Ponta Delgada, there’s no doubt I will stay at Pedro’s. Thank you again Pedro for everything you did and have success, health, and wealth!
