I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

The host is super nice and helpful. She designed and also decorated the building with collections from traveling around the world. It was great experience staying at her place and chatting with her. Great location on the western coast. Easy to get to and transfer to other areas. The quad room was very spacious and set out really nice. We were met by the host who put on a welcoming tea ceremony for us. The house hosts their studio of fine arts and crafts which was a real treat to look at and purchase the item. Communal room for kitchen and dining was beautifully set out and equipped. Breakfast was local foods made fresh and plenty.
