This Guesthouse is perfect for transit! My room was very tidy and big. The bathroom as well, with a good (hot water) shower. The staff is great and Zuchu a Pearl. She was very uncomplicated, full of energy& joy and let me feel to „be home“ from the first second on.

Large clean room in a secure house. Room has fan and air con so very adaptable to whatever temperature you like - I got too cold with the air con on. The communal bathroom and kitchen are kept nice and clean too. Central location and easy to walk to areas in stone town. The staff are super friendly too, and they responded quickly on booking.com messages. Would stay here again if back in stone town.

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!
