We had such an amazing stay at JJ’s. We originally booked for three days but ended up extending for another three because we loved it so much. JJ and his family/staff are all very kind and friendly — they made us feel so at home in their beautiful slice of the world. Elephantine Island is very relaxed and has a lovely local feel (a very nice change from Aswan city and the rest of Egypt!). That said, you’re only a two-minute ferry from the mainland which was super easy and we went in most nights for dinner. We booked a tour to Abu Simbel through JJ which saved us from having to think about logistics of getting there ourselves 🙌🏼 we ended up being the first group there for the day so got some amazing photos and we’re back in the guesthouse by 1pm. Also the included breakfast was incredibly generous. Everyday we had fresh juice, eggs, bread, salad, cheese, fruit salad, jam & honey. Honestly amazing value and cooked with love. Plus the view from the rooftop (where breakfast is served) is beautiful, looking over the Nile. Our room also had an amazing view of the river. Honestly I can’t rave enough about this place. We feel so happy to have stumbled upon JJ Guesthouse and are leaving with some very special memories ✨🩷

Το Nubian Soul Guest Houses έχει κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Ασουάν. Everything. Mahmoud was a great host and made all he could to arrange everything 🙏 This place provides laundry services, transfers, great tours and so on. Even hair cuts, henna tattoos if you need. Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

Το King Mina Nubian House βρίσκεται στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει καταλύματα με ιδιωτικές βεράντες. It was the best place we stayed in our whole trip in Egypt! Everything was new and clean, AC worked great, breakfast was delicious and the host was super helpful. I can’t recommend it enough!

Το Crystala guest house είναι στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 23 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. Διαθέτει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ. Tout était parfait, l'hôte était extrêmement gentil. It's the place to be in Aswan. .

Το FADL Kato παρέχει δωμάτια με κλιματισμό και ιδιωτικό μπάνιο στο Ασουάν, σε απόσταση 22 χλμ και 900μ από τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν και Nubian Museum, αντίστοιχα. : Very close to public ferries to Aswan. Rooms were functional, on the livelier side of Elephantine islands. Great views on the balcony for breakfast. Most importantly, staff were amazing, helpful and welcoming. They provided advice on how to get to main sites in Aswan, helped us secure good prices and booked day trip to Abu Simbel. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Thank you again for making our stay on Elephantine very nice and memorable , I was truly overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality at this place. Ahmed the owner, along with his staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They arranged a car from the airport, and the driver was in touch with me well in advance of my arrival. Despite my late arrival, Ahmed prepared a delicious homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. She also organized a felucca ride on short notice, again at a fair rate. During our conversations, I shared some stories about my family who couldn’t join me on the trip. In a beautiful and thoughtful gesture, Ahmed gave a small gift for my wife and kids — a touching example of Nubian hospitality and culture that really stayed with me. On my first day, her son kindly accompanied me on the ferry to help me get familiar with the area — another thoughtful gesture I really appreciated. Every request I had was taken care of promptly and with genuine care. Do note that the place is located on an island, so you'll need to take a ferry to get in and out. The service is frequent, but it’s something to be aware of when planning. Overall, an exceptional stay with an incredibly kind and generous host family. : They arrange for me all tours around Aswan and Luxor with very reasonable prices I will come back sure

Το Nuba Heart είναι στο Ασουάν και διαθέτει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δωρεάν WiFi. Το κατάλυμα απέχει 7,6 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν, 24 χλμ από Kitchener's Island και 25 χλμ από Aswan High Dam. Best roof top and host!! Easy to reach, even if is on the west bank. Quiet and really nice place, recently renovates. Very good communication with the host, alao great home cookes meals.

Το ABU Guest House διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, βεράντα και δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους. Abu is helpful and very diligent Egyption YOUNG guy(not by his age), he do help us a lot for the trip, and information. He has a really lovely personality and really care about everyone a lot. It's like if you want to interact with local people but not only see the touristy places and leave, You guys must be here! Very very good cultural experience! I just feel so pity like we stay here for only one night and speak to our landlord only two times. Crying!!!!! Cry!!!!

Το La Terrace είναι στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 22 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. Ένα καταπληκτικό μέρος για διαμονή, καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, με πολύ ωραία θέα στον ποταμό Νείλο και πολύ εύκολη πρόσβαση. Κυρίως όμως ο ιδιοκτήτης ο Μοχάμεντ, ένας πολύ καλός άνθρωπος πάντα διαθέσιμος να μας εξυπηρετήσει σε όλα. Μας κανόνισε τόσο μια εκδρομή στο ναό του Αμπου Σιμπέλ, όπως και κρουαζιέρα στον Νείλο σε πολύ καλές τιμές. Το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!

Το Airkela Nuba Dool 2 είναι στο Ασουάν και προσφέρει παραθαλάσσια καταλύματα, σε απόσταση 23 χλμ από Μαυσωλείο του Αγά Χαν. Προσφέρει διάφορες ανέσεις, όπως κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. The hotel is decorated with a local touch, facing the Nile, and it’s so relaxing to enjoy the breeze and scenery from the rooftop. The hotel staff were also so friendly; they came all the way to the pier to meet us.
