It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Everything about our stay was simply wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly went out of their way to help us – from planning our days to booking tickets and giving us great local tips. You could really feel that they cared about making our experience as good as possible. One morning we had an early excursion, and even though breakfast wasn’t officially served that early, they still arranged something for us. That kind of thoughtfulness really made an impression. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving both traditional Chinese cuisine and Western dishes. After a long day of exploring, it was perfect to come back and enjoy a delicious meal just steps from our room. This place is ideal for anyone who loves the countryside and wants to be close to nature. It’s set in a peaceful, local village environment, surrounded by mountains and rice fields – a dream for anyone looking for something more authentic. The view of Moon Hill from our room was absolutely spectacular – we didn’t even need to line up with other tourists to get the perfect photo. We could enjoy it in peace right from our bed! The location is excellent, the surroundings are calming, and the people in China were among the most welcoming we’ve ever met. This hotel truly set the tone for the rest of our trip – we honestly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Yangshuo. A true gem that we wholeheartedly recommend! The taxi driver/guide was also amazing.
