The host also introduce a few good eateries and restaurants, which we enjoyed very much. The facilities and amenities were complete too.

Just make sure not to use the English version of Apple Maps to find it. The location is currently a bit off there and in fact there is two wrong entries (one inside the museum and one in the middle of Pingjiang road). The Chinese version of the entry is correct.

The place was great, as you are in the old town but in a local street, so is not all touristic which made it very nice to me! I was picked up and drop off and helped with my bag and getting a taxi back to the station; which was very nice from the hosts. They also quickly sorted out my ticket you need for the old town and entering the sights. The room is not as the one I saw in the photos here, but was still good, beautiful decorated and with everything you need.

Service was exceptional, the housekeeper (Auntie Xu) was very warm and welcoming and goes out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, especially since we have an elderly member of the family with us. Having Anni the miniature poodle around with us in the property is another plus point!
