The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a great time there. We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Hostal La Finquita is a recently renovated guest house situated in Palomino, 400 metres from Palomino Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The rooms are fitted with a balcony with views of the garden. We ended up staying longer than expected. What makes this place special is it's owner. One of the very few Colombian owners in Palomino. Therefore he has to tell many interesting stories if you want to learn more about Palomino, it's people and surroundings. (He wants to learn English but so far only speaks Spanish). Antoher big plus is the space you have on the hostel grounds. There is a swimming pool, an eating area with breakfast included. They will offer you different breakfast options if you simply ask them. There are baby turtles, a garden and space to put down your yoga mat on the grass if you want to work out. The location is excellent. You are only a few minutes walk from the beach and the restaurants and stores. It's quiet. There are no dogs but you are welcome to bring your pet along.

Boasting private check-in and check-out, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We loved our stay here, everything was great. Jackson and Wendy are incredibly kind and helpful - they really make the place what it is..we stayed for 5 nights left to do a tour and came back to stay again. We would definitely come back if we're ever in the area again. Thanks Wendy and Jackson!

There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. I loved staying here and extended from 2 nights to 10 nights in total. Great breakfast and free coffe and water all day. The location is perfect, the pool has different levels. The staff is amazing and will try help you with any question. Wifi worked great. The have laundry service too. I liked the common chill area upstairs with hammocks and downstairs with a small sofa area and many places around the pool area. Great value for what you pay. No party hostel.
