Σε απόσταση 8,4 χλμ από Jean Piaget University of Cape Verde και 11 χλμ από Cabo Verde University, το Palmira House βρίσκεται σε Cidade Velha και παρέχει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, κλιματισμό,... Stayed one night and 100% loved the place, there's so much to like. The room is cutely-designed and super clean, nice bathroom, good A/C. Super quiet except for the waves crashing in the distance. Breakfast was very satisfying and complete...egg, yogurt, apple, cereal, coffee, bread, jam. You can pay with a credit card and no % fee added. Although my room did not have a balcony there is a really nice area with a table & chairs looking out to the ocean so you don't need one. I did not use the pool but laid on the chaise for a while, so nice and peaceful. Sure it's a 10-minute walk to the main little square (I timed it once at 9min 50sec) but that's not an issue, it's a very pleasant stroll.

Very nice hotel, located a few kilometers away from Tarrafal and the playas. It is in a small village, very quiet and with ocean views. The appartment was really clean, and very well furnished. Many items in the kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and 4 balconies! The breakfast is amazing (we were only eating breakfast and in the evening, as the breakfast was really generous), and the lady serving it and doing housekeeping is so nice.

A nice view from a spacious balcony, beautiful interior and gorgeous paintings on the wall. It was fascinating to stay here for one night in our trip through the island. Apart of that, we got the receipt and tasting of craft grog drink which is so good.

The location is great, although the surrounding area (streets) is still under construction so it can be rough terrain to walk through to the main village if you are not able to walk well. Spectaculair view of the sea and the waves crashing on the rocky coast. Breathtaking! House is clean and well maintained. Garden too. Multiple rooms are rented out and you share the kitchen, living room and outside area with swimming pool. The coast in town has a little beach but is more a place where the locals put there fishing boats in the water. Sometimes someone swims there and that is possible but it is dark brown beach sand and quite big waves, so we didn’t swim in the sea there. If you rent a car somewhere you would be able to visit other places in the island from Cidade Velha. Staff very friendly and stay out of your way. We didn’t take the breakfast, but there is the possibility. The caretaker showed us the way to the village and the small supermarket shops for some groceries. There isn’t much available, but Praia is very close by (you can take a local white transportation van for only a euro into Praia on the main road) and it is a very nice place to stay away from the big town. We stayed in multiple places in Santiago and thought this was the most beautiful location to stay in the island.

( April 2025) . However, this would be perhaps cheaper than catching one the airport . I cant remember how much it was on the day time but maybe around 12ish. *important* Payment is nothing to do with Mendes Family! directly with the taxi driver) 10-15 mins ride. * Basic breakfast is included yet fills enough at morning. > Sweet yellow thing , I think it was made by sugarcane ? was nice < * Lovely cat; Doesn't bother people ( Just be aware if you have a allergy or scared of ) its friendly. * (since its a family house, only cash can be accepted since its not a hotel.) * Thanks a lot for that they kindly waited for my late arrival due to the long delay with my flight. <3 I would stay again if I pass by Praia

And he is kind. He makes sure that the place is clean all the time. You really feel at home. I also like the welcoming drink and Nespresso in the living room. Eddy, you are the best.

Located in the heart of the old town, this is a great place to stay. The owners are very friendly and communication was excellent. You can walk everywhere around the old town from here. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Full kitchen to make your own meals and coffee.
