Actually, Kavala was not our main destination, but we were tired after a long motorcycle ride and decided to stay, so it was a last-minute decision and booking! It was all by chance, and we did not know about Castello Boutique Rooms before we booked! We liked the hotel and Kavala so much that we decided to stay there for all our holiday. Staff were super kind and friendly, room was neat and clean, hotel is located right next to the historical church and nearby every must-see! We could also park our motorbike safely in front of the hotel! Lovely small boutique hotel! We definitely will be back! :)

It was extremely clean which is priority #1 for us, very well located and had no issues parking my huge car (compared to the local cars) right in front of the entrance. will recommend this place to anyone

There are so many useful details that the owners have emphasized that make it incredibly beautiful and I am not talking about the hospitality of the hosts which was exceptional. I recommend it for any visit to Kavala, being very close to the center, just a few minutes away.

(Most of the properties don’t have it). The room was very clean and everything was new. Balcony was huge. They cleaned the room every day.

Sofia and Thanos were such gracious and helpful hosts and made us feel at home. Highly recommend the Elizabeth Room where we stayed but everywhere is great. Also a great location in Old Town right near the ferry to Thassos, beaches, and the fortress. 10/10 handsdown.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sole Mare, the room was impeccably clean, it had everything you'd need for a perfect summer holiday. The location is perfect, just next to one of the most beautiful beaches on Thassos - Golden beach. The room was equipped with a kitchenette, enough to prepare a small breakfast, includes water heater, nespresso maschine (capsulles are refilled each day) and a small stovetop. The host Kostas was very fiendly and helpful, he recommended us some great spots and tavernas which we were very pleased with! We wish all the best to the SoleMare team, definitely recommended and we hope to return again!😊
