There's a beautiful communal area overlooking the veggie garden and also with a fire place (it gets cold at night in Ruteng)! The staff are incredible and so accommodating, helped us with all of our needs and questions, couldn't recommend this place enough!!! Also it was so very clean!! I watched them clean the place every day from top to bottom, going above and beyond when cleaning the rooms and bathrooms! If I'm ever back to Ruteng, I will 100% stay here again!!

We were offered yummy fried bananas and tea when we arrived and breakfast the following morning was fabulous -our best so far.

We loved that the location is a bit outside of Labuan Bajo, but you should be comfortable riding a scooter. The guesthouse doesn't offer bike rental, but the next rental was 2minutes away with very reasonable pricing. Wifi was strong and reliable. Best mosquito net we had in 3months SEA. We would definitely stay there again! A small shelf next to the sink would be great!

Our host Jeff and his family were very welcoming, accommodating our very large and noisy family with an extra bed in our bedroom. His morning rice field walks are a legend and he takes amazing photos.
