Wow, where to begin? We didn't have much expectations coming to Terimakasih, but the stay completely exceeded any expectation we could have formed. The pictures on booking don't do the property justice; the cabins, view, restaurant, general facilities were all excellent. The staff was so friendly, and always ready to help. They cleaned the cabin daily and we got banana fritters as snack in the afternoon (still dreaming about them). It was so relaxing in the hammock on the porch, and it wasn't hot with the breeze from the ocean. It was my happy place for a small week. The house reef was colourful and full of fish. In the evening we saw bioluminesence around the cabin in the water. As far as homestays go- this one outshines them (speaking for experience). I'd rather you didn't book so there will always be a place for me, but I understand if you do based on this review :) It has all the ingredients for a wonderful vacation. Thanks, Mario + team.

Staff is friendly and owners are honest, serious people. Pick-up at Waisai was punctual, no delays. 24h electricity and starlink Wi-Fi makes this stunning place the best option in Raja Ampat

You know how people only ever write a review when an experience was either truly bad or exceptionally good. Well, this review will be an exceptionally good one. It was our first time in Raja Ampat, let alone Indonesia. Eddo Homestay was our first accommodation and we had low expectations from what we generally read about accommodations in Raja Ampat and because it was a newly built place with few reviews. However, our expectations were exceeded. The first thing I wanna highlight is the hospitality, kindness and service of all the staff there. I especially want to mention Acho, the guy who manages the Homestay and took care of anything we needed. The first two days we were the only two guests at the Homestay and had the best experiences. Acho personally went snorkeling with us at Yenbuba Jetty, took us to a Sandbank, to Sauwandarek Village and Arborek. He was pretty much our personal guide and we enjoyed every single minute of it. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our "wishes" / requests, no matter what it was about (excursions, food, more data for our sim card, etc.). He would also always sit with us for every meal, talk to us, share about life in Indonesia. It was like hanging out with your older brother. They also tried their best to offer a variety of different foods each day. For breakfast we had toast, fried eggs, pancakes, Nutella, jam, cheese and one day (upon our request) even Avocado. For lunch and dinner it's mostly rice but always with either fish, meat, vegetables, salad, etc. And always delicious. Our highlight were the chocolate chip cornflakes with cold fresh milk though. The cabins were very spacious with a double bed and mosquito net, a couch, a little closet area with hangers and a fan. The bathroom was huuuge and beautifully designed. Each cabin has a terrace with two lounge chairs where we mostly hung out. We had everything we needed. The entire place was very clean, the cabins, the restaurant, everything.

Το Paparisa Homestay, στον προορισμό Kri, προσφέρει καταλύματα μόνο για ενήλικες με κήπο, ιδιωτική παραλία και βεράντα. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να απολαύσουν τη θέα στη θάλασσα. Paparisa homestay was amazing! Rio and his Team are taking really good care that everyone has a lovely stay and help where they can to arrange transportation or daytrips or diving. The bungalows are very clean, spacious and well equipped. We even had our own bathroom which is definitely a luxury on the island! Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the island life. The Food was also very good and there was also lots of variety, even though I am vegetarian :) Definitely one of the best places to stay in raja ampat!

Το Korbekwan Homestay βρίσκεται σε Besir. Το κατάλυμα προσφέρει θέα στη θάλασσα. Παρέχονται πετσέτες αλλά και λευκά είδη. If you want true paradise waters in pure simplicity this place is perfect. Yes they very basic, but that’s exactly what we wanted to really feel true raja Ampat! There are only 3 huts so super quiet and they are very clean! No rats or nasties, and being over the water is amazing! The family are so lovely!!! They don’t speak English but are so kind and you feel that they respect your privacy also! The food was the best we had in raja ampat! We had meat or fish every day, with rice and 2 options of veg. The reef directly outside is beautiful with so much to see at your doorstep! It is a shared bathroom however it’s tucked away so you have privacy and we got used to it very quickly. Can’t recommend enough! We are so glad that we booked Korbekwan

This place looks so beautiful, the family have created such a beautiful, place with shells and driftwood decorating everything, we loved it. The food was incredible and the room was very comfy. The house reef was beautiful and we saw mantas straight from our room! Thank you so much for such a beautiful stay.

Το Nyanse Homestay - Raja Ampat βρίσκεται σε Besir. Παρέχονται πετσέτες και λευκά είδη σε αυτό το κατάλυμα. This homestay was the best ever, I would always put it in my list when coming back to RA, it feels like we have them as friends and family there! I don’t know where to start, apart from the absolutely stunning views on the oceanfront pier and balconies, especially during sunset and sunrise, I really have to highlight the food - it was always incredible, especially the veggies just wow. The breakfast and the deserts (fruit) was usually calculated with about 2 pieces per person if there were more people staying at the homestay, but that was fine since they also have an afternoon snack every day! Me and my partner are freedivers, so we were looking for spots between 3-20 meters with the main objectives to see mantas, sharks and turtels, and the family did its best with helping us planning the trips. All of the we did with the homestay and it was great, they always brought lunch and coffee and you could really see they enjoy being in the water and with the marine life as well. We went to Manta Sandy, Tangjung Putus, and Mansuar and all of them were great, yet in Mansuar there was loads of trash in the water (like generally around Kri and north of RA during rainy time) which is really a big downer and will hopefully change at some point. After having stayed also on Kri island, I know now that Nyanse Homestay is one of the cleanest places and their housereef is usually quite clean as well. Of course the corals there are not as great as the spots you go with a boat because they are also more exposed to sun and heat, but we saw a great amount of colorful and different fish as well as a turtle and 2 water snakes (watch out they are highly poisonous but they do not attack if you leave them alone, also some other divers told me they are so small so they could only potentially bite where the skin is very thin like the ears, so all good ;) ) Now the best thing - every single one of the family is such a warm soul. They even helped me prepare a surprise for my partner’s birthday

Incredibly stunning and secluded location in Raja Ampat. Gam Bay is breathtaking, and staying in the overwater bungalows was so special. Fell asleep to the sounds of the waves. The bungalows and homestay facilities were always clean and well maintained. The homestay organises transfers to and from Wasai and other islands. There are plenty of half-day and full-day trips while staying to choose from. The snorkelling was stunning and slightly different at every location. Food was really good. Breakfast was delivered directly to the bungalow every morning. Made a good start to the day. Aron, the owner, is kind and friendly. He also speaks English - which is helpful for anyone that doesn’t speak any Indonesian. Aron was always around but was also contactable via whatsapp for any questions. I loved my time here and will be coming back.
