He even offered to drive me back to the restaurant when I forgot the bag with my new purchases there. I must also applaud the wonderful, small staff who greeted us at the door and helped carry in our luggage. They were so attentive and we always came back to a fresh room. This is not your typical homestay. I understand now why Pankaj’s guests return to him—and only him—again & again. Pankaj is aware, cultured, and open-minded—the world comes to his doorstep! He answered my many questions about Indian culture and explained the metro system which is an experience I’m happy to have had. I haven’t slept so well in weeks, even considering I had to share the bed with my brother. The mattresses are perfect, as you barely feel any movement from the other person.
