The staff were always nice, responsive and helpful especially Raju and Khan, the tuk tuk driver. Made my stay comfortable and very memorable. The food, even though only veg, was very good and affordable. Will stay again and highly recommended. My best wishes.

We really loved our stay at Doongri House, we immediately felt welcome and at home there. The whole place was impeccably clean, the rooms very spacious, beds comfortable, and the terrace was just wonderful for enjoying a bit of quiet from the bustle of the city. We also always had breakfast and dinner there because the food was just delicious. My partner had some stomach issues when we arrived and they took very good care of him, accommodating extra wishes for food and suggesting pharmacies, doctors, etc. and letting us stay longer in the room on our final day. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone I know. Thank you again!

The host is really friendly & helpful, and her husband and kids are nice too. Overall, really positive atmosphere. I recommend getting up early and catching the sunrise from the roof! If I pass by the town again, I’ll definitely put up here.

The menu offers enough variety, and the chef prepares good homemade food—especially the hot chocolate! Our room was spacious with a balcony, and the bathroom layout was thoughtfully designed, with a proper dry area separate from the shower and toilet. The room is well equipped and looks new. The owner gave helpful advice on places to visit and arranged a tuktuk driver for us. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.
