It was the perfect place to relax after exploring Hampi. The hosts, Ramu and his wife Kavitha, were amazing. They were friendly, warm, and always ready to help, which made us feel right at home. The location is great—away from the noisy tourist areas but just a 4-minute drive to all the main attractions in Hampi. A special mention goes to Mr. Anjaneya, or Anji, a family friend of the hosts. He drove us around in his auto-rickshaw and was more than just a driver—he was like a guide. He took us on a tour of Hampi, suggested the best places to eat non-veg food, and even helped us rent a bike. His tips and guidance made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Shankar Homestay is a perfect blend of comfort, great hospitality, and a peaceful vibe. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hampi!

My girlfriend and I were unfortunately very sick for most of our stay at Saptami Hampi, but we were blown away by the kindness of our hosts. They arranged for a doctor to come to our room late at night, looked after us, and we're constantly checking in that we were well. In addition, the rooms were spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, and the huge number of monkeys all around the property were an endless source of entertainment. The dosas provided for breakfast were also absolutely incredible. Possibly the best dosas I've had anywhere in India.

Wifi worked perfectly all the time. The hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful location with several restaurants nearby. The location is perfect for exploring the Hampi area. The owner Raj speaks excellent English and is extremely helpful. He happily assist you with anything, whether related to touring the Hampi area, planning your itinerary in India or any general questions you may have. I doubt there is any hotel in Hampi which offers better value for money. Highly recommended!
