We had a wonderful stay at this homestay, it felt just like home. The room was clean, cozy and beautifully decorated, the best part was the fully equipped kitchen, we could cook whatever we liked, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The host was very kind and helpful with local tips. The location is near to the mainroad, local shops and the market . We highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

It is the perfect homestay to experience how the Khasi people live traditionally. The host, Kitborlong and his family welcomed and took care of us like family guests. They live in a traditional Khasi Hut (exquisite and rare) with a sloping thatch roof, surrounded by natural beauty - including two waterfalls within their property! The accommodation has been made in the same traditional khasi style (by the host and his father who is one or few remaining experts who have that knowledge) with modern amenities for the comfort of the guests. The roof of the homestay hut from within and outside is a work of art. It has all the comforts travellers look for in a homestay with the added bonus of tasty home-cooked (mostly homegrown) food. Our 5 year old son enjoyed the feel of living in a sprawling farm with a loving Khasi family, feeding chickens and star gazing. If you enjoy star gazing - it is a perfect spot with clear night sky and a wide view. It was a wholesome experience, and we would recommend it as a must do while travelling at leisure in Meghalaya.
